about:

Hi, I'm Sachin. This is my webpage where I post writing (see the writing or blog sections), music (tba), and microgames (tba), and more. If you know me from real life, mwah mwah! I'm using this page just because I need some place to put the stuff that I make and write that isn't a social media account. This page is to be cross-hosted on nekoweb and neocities.

f.a.q (i guess, no one has seen this page yet but like i imagine someone would ask this)

Why is this page called "thunder, perfect mind"?

"The Thunder, Perfect Mind" is a Gnostic poem written originally in Coptic found in the Nag Hammadi library. I've been looking into esoterica and early christian heresies (such as Gnosticism) for a few years now. It's been really helpful for me to contextualize the Church that I grew up within christian religious history across the world. It's helped me understand that I am not alone in the ways my brain is messed up from growing up in the church, and that the church has been messing up people's brains up since time immemorial. "The Thunder, Perfect Mind" has resonated with me since encountering it initial in a video on the youtube channel ESOTERICA . The poem is in large part about the paradoxical sensation of the divine --- across gender and imperial class in particular. It's not hard for such a poem to hit with a brown, queer, ex-sunday school kid.
